The first design I created was a sticker to represent the entire Visual Arts department that included elements from each major. For the fine art I used paint and a paintbrush, a computer for graphic design, and a slate for film. From there I took each of those elements and created a separate sticker for each major. I added a camera sticker to represent both film as well as photography. After illustrating each department, I picked color palettes. I wanted to choose bright but also readable colors, so my main colors were two shades of blue, light green, and red. As secondary colors I chose orange, pink, and dark green. 

After choosing color palates I picked fonts. I decided to use Smashing, a bold and organic adobe font. I chose Smashing because it makes a visual statement and because of its humanist elements, it appears to be hand drawn or painted. This illustrates the creativity, attention to detail, and the students love for personal expression within their work.
